Make paneer balls

Prepare Rasgulla at home

Rasgulla is an Indian sweet and it is originated from Orissa, easy to make. Rasgulla is made by paneer basically cheese balls. Here is an easy way to make Rasgulla, even at home. Try it your own, it’s a simple recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Milk - 1 litre
  • Lemon -1/2 (make juice)

How to make Paneer

  • Paneer is made by fermenting milk. To do so, you have to boil the milk in a pan, stir it well so that the milk does not get burn.
  • When the milk boils, add lemon juice to it.
  • Now you can see the paneer gets separated from the milk.
  • Take the paneer in a muslin cloth or any ordinary cloth; keep it till all the water gets drained out.
  • Now show the paneer in running water, so that the flavor of lemon juice gets separated from it.
  • Paneer is ready for making Rasgulla.
  • We have to prepare paneer balls, for making Rasgulla.
  • Take the paneer in a bowl and knead it, and make it as dough, so that no lumps were formed.
  • Make small, paneer balls with that dough.

Sugar syrup

Sugar-2 cups

Water-4 cups

  • Boil water in a pan and add sugar and stir it well, till all the sugar gets dissolve.
  • Turn the heat on for 5 minutes, now the sugar syrup is also ready.

Rasgulla’s:

  • Take the pressure cooker; add the sugar syrup (or) you can make sugar syrup in the cooker itself.
  • Now add paneer balls, in the pressure cooker and close the lid and wait till whistle comes.
  • The small paneer balls you have placed have doubled in their size.
  • Soft and spongy mouth melting rasgulla’s are ready, serve chilled.

How to make RASMALAI

    Now your rasgullas are ready, you can make rasmalai with that rasgulla’s.rasmalai is an dessert but dipped in condensed milk or creamy milk. Rasgullas are made and dipped in sugar syrup, where as rasmalai’s are dipped in milk .

Ingridients for milk

Milk- 3-4 cups

Cardamom powder-1/2 table spoon

Almond-5

Saffron-3 nos

Sugar-1/2 cup(according to your taste)

Preparation

  •  Take a pan, and boil the milk till it becomes completely thick as a condensed milk.
  • Add cardamom powder and saffron to that milk.
  • Now add the Rasgulla to that milk, and cook for few minutes in a medium heat.
  • Add almond, and other dry fruits and stir well.
  • Serve chilled rasmalai.
